The TPEP RCIC is working to develop a sustainable source of income, however in the interim, will obtain its funding through a combination of grants from government entities, other non-profit foundations and individual and corporate sponsorships.
Texas ETF Regional Match Challenge
The Texas Emerging Technology Fund has challenged each of the RCIC to raise $200,000 to qualify for an annual cash match of $200,000 from the State.
Meeting the Challenge
The TransPecos/El Paso RCIC is meeting the challenge with contributions from each of the volunteers that serves on the board of directors. In addition, the RCIC has initiated a capital campaign to enhance these contributions and bolster operations.
